Due to the current Covid-19 pandemic, Swan Brook Equestrian Center is currently enforcing the following protocols.
IF YOU ANSWER YES TO ANY OF THE BELOW QUESTIONS, PLEASE STAY HOME
o Have you had a cough or sore throat?
o Have you had a fever within the last 48 hours?
o Do you have shortness of breath?
o Do you have a loss of taste or smell?
o Have you been around anyone exhibiting these symptoms within the past 14 days?
o Are you living with anyone who is sick or quarantined?
o Have you traveled to any states listed by the Maine CDC as one which needs a negative covid test or quarantine, in the last 14 days?
There is hand sanitizer on the table at the front of the aisle for all visitors of the farm.
- Please wear a mask when in the barn at all times. If outside and within 6' of others, please wear a mask.
- Please disinfect common surfaces of the bathroom after use
Q: I want to travel somewhere outside of Maine, either with my horse or by myself. Do I have to quarantine for 14 days before I return to the barn?
A: Depending on the state you are traveling to, maybe. Please stay up to date on what states are on the Maine CDC's list of those that require 14 days quarantine or a negative test. An essential reason to travel out of state with our horses would be for veterinary care. Sadly, horse shows and clinics are not deemed essential. Keep in mind, "A violation of [the] Order may be charged as a Class E crime subject to a penalty of up to six months in jail and a $1,000 fine."
