Lauren Dallaire
Lauren Dallaire is an ICP Level I-Training certified instructor and trainer. A native of West Newbury, Massachusetts, she has been riding since the age of six. Having started in the hunter/jumper equitation discipline, Lauren learned the importance of good position and tactful riding. At the same time, however, she was learning how to just have fun while riding! At home, she had her first pony, an Arabian mare named Tess. With Tess, Lauren learned how to fall, how to gallop bareback, and how to find a true friend in a horse.
At 12, Lauren joined the United States Pony Club. She is now a C3 certified member, and began teaching under the watchful eye of her Pony Club mentors and instructors, learning how to teach riding as well as horsemanship.
Lauren has ridden with a number of extremely successful riders, trainers, and judges. She was a working student/assistant barn manager for Vitor Silva at Sons of the Wind School of the Equestrian Arts, for four years. Lauren also trained/worked with Pam Hunt (hunter/jumper trainer, judge), Eric Smiley (advanced eventing competitor, judge, Olympic coach), Richard Lamb (show jumper, judge, Olympic coach), Sheryl MacLeod(hunter/jumper trainer), Keith Angstadt (Dressage competitor, judge), Tom Davis (Intermediate eventer, USEA ICP Level 2 instructor), as well as numerous other clinicians.
With so many years in the saddle, Lauren has gained lifelong lessons that she passes on to both her students and the horses she works with. With a patient, structured, yet fun approach to all lessons, Lauren hopes to lift each student to reach for their goals!
